Welcome again to Vocabbett!
I’ve designed the members’ area to be completely self-paced so you can explore whatever suits your fancy. There is no wrong order in which to learn!
All the same, if you’re looking for more structure…
I highly recommend starting with the first episode of the Vocabbett podcast and working your way forward sequentially, being sure to check out the members-only podcast accompaniments, too! (The links here may look like what you’ll find on the regular Vocabbett page, but they almost always have something extra — the full text of a short story, a video, etc.)
The podcast does a great job of laying the foundation, explaining how my method differs from traditional learning techniques.
The Vocabbett Podcast
You can listen to the podcast here at Vocabbett or on your favorite podcast player. Here are the links for:
If you’re finding the podcast helpful, I cannot tell you how much I’d appreciate it if you left a five-star review!
There’s also a wealth of core content available, including two video series.
You also have access to all my vocabulary-boosting short stories and ebooks.
Again, the podcast will explain the methodology in more detail, but the gist is this: your brain logs impressions of new words. It can’t help it! It’s how you learned your native tongue as a child, and it’s a fundamental human desire to understand what’s going on around you.
By writing and telling stories with big words, we’re sneakily improving your vocabulary over time, circumventing tedious traditional learning techniques.
If you like the stories, be sure to check out the “works in progress” section, too! There, you’ll get access to what I’m currently working on before publication!
